MONDAY, DECEMBER 28th

Fendi sweater. Fendi bag. Fendi culottes. Fendi pumps.

Whoever created Monday is a sadistic asshole. He pretty much created a day with the sole purpose of making you remember how much your life sucks. And on these moody Mondays where gallons of iced coffee can't even revive you, you'll need a song to do the trick. A playful, anthemic song that makes you groove uncontrollably at your desk and reminds you life is a BEAUTIFUL thang (no, not thing - thang!)

My go-to jam is 'Feelin' Myself.' It's total girl power wrapped in a hard beat that makes you want to do this at work (make sure the boss isn't looking and twerk it out babe!)

So in honor of how much I feel myself and how much I feel Fendi this season, I put together a head-to-toe Fendi look. The fun sweater, the trendy culottes, the perfect magenta Baguette, and sky-high black pumps are the perfect outfit for work (assuming you're not in one of those stuffy corporate jobs), wine night at home with the girl gang, or Sunday brunch.

And to celebrate how much I'm feelin' it, I penned an abridged version of Nicki Minaj's rap verse on 'Feelin Myself.' Rap it out loud to your friends if you dare!

FEELIN' FENDI

I'm feelin' Fendi, I'm feelin' Fendi - I'm feelin' Fen! I'm feelin' Fendi, I'm feelin' Fendi - I'm feelin' Fen!

I'm with some good girls lookin' back at it, and a good girl in my tax bracket, Got a black card let Saks have it, these Fendi bags is a bad habit. I wear Karl, Karl Lager, my Maybach, black matted. Girl never left and I'm back it, and feelin' Fendi like a crack addict. Floss so hard, back off, cause I'm feelin' myself, jack off. Thinkin' about clothes when I whack off, wax on, wax off. National anthem, culotte, fashion killer and I'm too hot. Lemme get a Fendi sweater with a black pump, 'On the Runway' with my fat rump.

Denim on Denim (on Denim)

by Matthew T. Murray

According to Urban Dictionary, also known as the intellectual Zeitgeist for millenials across America, racks on racks on racks means "being rich as f@#$, ballin' outta control." This look has next to nothing to do with racks on racks on racks but hey, it's Denim on Denim so let's pretend for the purposes of being a bit more spicy this Monday morning, that it does. Anywhoo, now that denim is the most undisputed and timeless staple you will have in your closet (think of how long you've been wearing jeans? Your entire life, except that string of Bar and Bat Mitzvahs you attended in your first ill-fitting dress?! Thought so!). Now, the new wave of wearing denim is a modern take on the Canadian tuxedo - pairing denim in the same indigo shade and clipping on some Chanel-bling. Why? Because Rihanna and Beyonce freakin' say so. And no shade to the Queen Bey, but Riri did wear this nifty little look first so I'm showing you how to steal her style below with 1000s of Rihanna's wearing denim on denim (okay, it's 12 Rihanna's).

Solange-ing It

by Matthew T. Murray

Solange Knowles is known for three things: (1) her supernova sister Beyonce aka Goddess, aka Queen Bey, aka Yonce if you so dare to address her majesty with a nickname, (2) her elevator brawl with a then-jittery Jay-Z (what exactly unfolded there will forever be an unanswered question of the universe) and (3) her inimitable style dressing to the nines in bright colors, optimistic patterns and incomparable personal touches that sing with style. I'm most enthused by number 3 although I do acknowledge that number 2 is more intriguing than elephants humping on the Discovery Channel.

As one of the most fashionable birds in the flock of stylish chicks out there, I often wax poetic on Solange's style. It's gotten to the undeniably-unhealthy point that when I see something terrific dangling from the racks at Topshop or clicking through the virtual treasure trove that is Net-a-Porter, I squeal in jarringly-high-pitch bird-cry: "Solange would wear this!"

Well, Solange would wear this outfit above fer suuureee. A lime-green and groovy yet niftily nautical dress from Topshop and spectacular statement heels from Tibi adorned with gobstopper gems and monochrome stripes (now on sale for $178 - down from the wince-worthy $445 price-tag so buy it right this very second!!!) have the Solange sass. Add in an Edie Parker-ish clutch and strut around like you learned it from Beyonce... just like Solange did!
