Still Dreamin'

by Matthew T. Murray in Resort Wear

All this look needs is seven PiƱa Coladas, a sandy sun-drenched beach, the perfect sun-kissed tan and a hot cabana boy making sexual advances toward you. Yesterday, I was fantasizing about escaping a wearisome winter in New York for the Dominican Republic and today, I am still dreaming that dream.

With all these cool chicks on Instagram documenting their jet-set glam every freakin' day, your envy is at an all-time high and drive to clock in 9-to-5 at work is at an all-time low. That's where the virtual vacation comes in. Head to Beach Bum after work for a fake tan fix, order this Kiini bikini from the comfort of your couch, and drink some homemade tropical cocktails. It may just lift you from your winter woes and once that bikini arrives at your doorstep, you'll feel like summer is calling your name!

Rita + Tom

by Matthew T. Murray in Some Enchanted Evening

Following Rita Ora on Instagram is an unintentional undertaking rife with soul-crushing moments of insecurity. I mean how in the hell are you supposed to feel good about yourself when British Barbie is parading around the world wearing haute off the runway looks you could only daydream of. I mean, the girl could make a garbage bag look like some couture confection.

So when the stylish songstress arrived with Tom Ford at the Met Gala last year, my heart skipped not one but two beats. But when she rocked the red carpet with Mr. Ford for a second time at the British Fashion Awards, I died. Time of death: 9:53 PM.

Ford and Ora are a match made in heaven. Ford's iconic sex kitten designs for YSL and Gucci shaped the landscape for contemporary fashion. Ora's outlandish outfits are a fashion girls' dream come to life. It only makes sense Ford would cherry-pick Rita Ora as his muse.

So in honor of the dynamic duo, I would kill to see Rita rock this show-stopping velvet and satin Tom Ford gown with metallic Barbie-pink Gucci sandals and a striped Edie Parker clutch. And even though I love to showcase a look for less when picking looks that cost 3 month's rent, I couldn't find anything that came close to these jaw-dropping picks.

HOW TO LOOK CLASSY AS F@$%

by Matthew T. Murray

Your day was a bore, you've had zero fun. But throw on this Gucci, and go for a run... To the fanciest bar you find in your midst, swig some cocktails with friends, give bartenders a kiss. You look freakin' classy, even though you're broke, the price tag of this dress made you want to choke. But it's all worth it now, you feel like a queen, but then you wake up, it was all just a dream. You have no Gucci, no Edie Parker clutch, but you have pizza in the fridge, YESSS time to go munch.
